One of my FAVORITE ways to grow my plants is hydroponically! It is SO much easier then dealing with soil! Soil is the root cause (pun intended đź¤) to almost ALL of our planty problems. Overwatering, underwatering, root rot, fungus gnats, not being able to vacation because “who’s going going to water the dang plants!?!” You NEED hydroponics my frond.
You only need water + fertilizer and your plants can grow hydro as long as a plant in soil. Some of my oldest hydroponic plants are halfway to a decade old right about now. The easiest way is to take cuttings of your plants (a few days after they’ve been watered) and throw them in a vase of water. Add fertilizer and you’re DONE! No worrying about soil, pot size, repotting, is it time to water, is it not time to water, no more being dive bombed by fungus gnats (I mean that alone would convince me), it’s literally the savior to all of your planty probs.
The fertilizer that I use is perfect for all of my plants, growing is soil or water. The only difference is that I dilute the fertilizer to 1/4 strength for those growing in water!
